FAQs

Q?Why is my water bill so high?
A.

Frequently toilets are the culprit of high water bills. If your toilet is leaking or running this may be the cause. To check and see if your toilet is leaking, put food coloring in the tank. If you see color coming into the bowl then your toilet has a bad flapper causing the leak. We do offer free flappers to our customers. Stop by and pick one up so you can repair the leak and keep your water costs down.

Q?My toilets are not the cause of my high water bill. What else could it be?
A.

Refer to our Leak Detection page to help determine if you have a leak in your water lines. Also see our High Usage page for some other suggestions on what may be causing a high water bill.
